Notes

'Johnson' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Johnson') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers open in spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall and spreads 24 to 30 inches.

Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, September Charm anemone, Ostrich fern, and Prairie dropseed.
