Notes

'Jolt Pink F1' carnation (Dianthus 'Jolt Pink F1') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, and Creeping thyme.
