Notes

'Josette' peony (Paeonia 'Josette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, saucer-shaped blooms open soft pink and fade to clear white. Sturdy stems hold the thick petals in place, and the flowers keep their shape for days. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Clustered bellflower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
