Notes

'Joyce' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Joyce') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The tall, upright plants bloom in mid to late spring. The double flowers are soft white with a pearly pink cast. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
