Notes

'Joyful Well' peony (Paeonia 'Joyful Well') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, semi-double yellow flowers reach 6 inches wide on upright stems. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The plant stands 28 inches tall and needs no support.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Annabelle hydrangea.
