Notes

'Juanita' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Juanita') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white blooms have light pink shading and a rose fragrance. They open in midseason on good stems, so they work well in a vase. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
