Notes
'Julia Drusilla' peony (Paeonia 'Julia Drusilla') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, blush-white semi-double flowers fade to clear white and draw bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The upright stems need no support, and Joshua Scholten bred it.
Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Knapweed, and Western sword fern.
