Notes

'Julka' clematis (Clematis 'Julka') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Large violet flowers have a deep purple-red bar and open from June to August. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Susan magnolia, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
