Notes
'June Belle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'June Belle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are medium light pink, so they add soft color to bouquets and garden edges. Cut stems for a vase when you want blooms indoors. Dr. John H. Neeley bred it.
Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Western sword fern, and Creeping juniper.
