Notes

'Kaguyahime' bishop's hat (Epimedium 'Kaguyahime') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, ground cover, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, and bees visit it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Pair it with ferns and hostas for a calm shade bed.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Sum and Substance hosta.
