Notes

'Kanjiro Pink' camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Kanjiro Pink') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The fragrant flowers open in autumn and again in winter, and bees and birds visit them. It has an arching form, grows fast, and stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Strawberry tree, Carolina jessamine, and Society garlic.
