Notes

'Kantharos' peony (Paeonia 'Kantharos') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink flowers have white edges, and the upright stems need no support. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Spiked speedwell, Prairie dropseed, and Queen of Night tulip.
