Notes

'Karen Kersch' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Karen Kersch') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Guy Tomlinson bred it, and it blooms from mid to late spring into early summer. The fragrant, blush white ball blooms open with a pink center and carry three buds per stem. Strong stems hold the large blooms up above deep green foliage.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
