Notes
'Kassin's Fruhe Herz' sweet cherry (Prunus avium Kassins Fruhe Herz) is a columnar tree for a food garden or pollinator garden. It is grown for eating fresh. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Bees and butterflies visit its flowers from early to late spring. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for fruit.
Pairs well with Pretty Princess tulip, Gro-Low fragrant sumac, and Arizona Sun blanket flower.
