Notes

'Kate Smith' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kate Smith') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, fragrant, double flowers are bright rose pink with an orange cast. Strong stems hold them up above dark green foliage. Arthur L. Murawska bred it.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
