Notes

'Katrin' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Katrin') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright to about 6 feet tall. Each stem carries one fragrant, semi-double bloom in mid spring. The white petals have dark flares that fade to pink.

Pairs well with Blue star, Greig's tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
