Notes
'Kay Tischler' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kay Tischler') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large pink flowers with golden yellow tips on the center petals open in early summer. Robert William Tischler bred it, and Brand Peony Farms introduced it in 1964.
Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
