Notes

'Kedney' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kedney') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are a rosy crimson color and make a bold show in the garden. Cut a few stems for a vase, and the plant will keep blooming in the bed. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Creeping juniper, and Flamingo Feather celosia.
