Notes

'Kelway’s Queen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kelway’s Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double flowers are bright rose-pink with a strong rose fragrance. They open in late spring on strong stems above bright green foliage. The plant stays compact and makes few stems, but each stem usually flowers.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Bells of Ireland.
