Notes
'Kelway’s Rosalie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kelway’s Rosalie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. The single flowers are large and dark Tyrian pink with a broad white disk. They open in early to mid spring and sit well above the compact foliage.
Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and Lungwort.
