Notes

Kinko peony (Paeonia 'Kinko (see Alice Harding)') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and draws butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Wada bred it in 1939.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Lily, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
