Notes

'Kolyska' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kolyska') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double pink flowers are speckled on a white background and have a strong fragrance. They bloom in early to late spring. Remove the side buds so the strong stems can hold the main flower, or add support if you leave them.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Japanese spirea, and Black Hero tulip.
