Notes

'Konstance' African marigold (Tagetes erecta 'Konstance') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows as a clumping plant up to 24 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The fragrant blooms come in copper, yellow, orange, and red, and they attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Pairs well with Cosmos, Mealycup sage, and Cornflower.
