Notes
'F. Koppius' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'F. Koppius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 35 to 47 inches tall. The large, well formed flowers are deep red. Koppius bred it, and it was introduced from Holland.
Pairs well with Sedge, Smooth hydrangea, and Lily of the valley.
