Notes

Korean boxwood (Buxus sinica) is a shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The evergreen leaves stay green all year, and greenish yellow flowers open in early to late spring. It grows 24 to 30 inches tall and 36 to 48 inches wide. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Halcyon hosta, and Coral Sunset peony.
