Notes

'Tide Hill' Korean boxwood (Buxus sinica 'Tide Hill') is a shrub for borders, containers, rock gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays low at 9 to 12 inches tall, and the evergreen leaves tolerate drought. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Small yellowish-green flowers open in spring.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Red Charm peony, and Ornamental onion.
