Notes

'Green Mountain' buxus (Buxus 'Green Mountain') is an evergreen shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and wide. Greenish-cream flowers open in spring and attract bees. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Autumn fern, Golden Tiara hosta, and Nelly Moser clematis.
