Notes

'Wintergreen' Korean boxwood (Buxus sinica 'Wintergreen') is a shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It stays evergreen, so it gives you winter interest. Bees visit its small, fragrant, greenish yellow flowers.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Christmas fern, Wide Brim hosta, and Greig's tulip.
