Notes

'Krickles' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Krickles') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large lavender-pink semi-double flowers have ruffled, crimped petals that are darker at the base. The stems branch freely and carry many flowers each year. William J. Seidl bred it, and Solaris Farms introduced it.

Pairs well with Iris, Japanese spirea, and Prairie dropseed.
