Notes
'Kristin' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Kristin') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Bees and butterflies visit the spring flowers. Plant a second cherry nearby, since this tree is not self-fertile. It is grown for fresh eating, and the fruit ripens in mid season.
Pairs well with Blanket flower, Ice Follies daffodil, Red elderberry, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
