Notes

'Kroonprinses Margaretha' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Kroonprinses Margaretha') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, pale pink flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The bulbs are also good for early forcing indoors.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Obsidian coral bells, and Prairie dropseed.
