Notes

'La Fée' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'La Fée') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, fragrant flowers open light pink with salmon-pink shading in mid spring. Victor Lemoine bred it. The wiry stems can flop under heavy blooms, so you may want to give them support.

Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Ostrich fern, and Pussytoes.
