Notes

'La Perle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'La Perle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double, globular blooms open rose-pink with silvery edges and red flecks, then age to white. They have a strong fragrance and appear from mid to late spring into early summer. Crousse bred it.

Pairs well with White trillium, False Solomon's seal, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
