Notes

'Laciniatus Splendens' dianthus (Dianthus 'Laciniatus Splendens') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, and Creeping thyme.
