Notes
'Lancelot' sage (Salvia canariensis 'Lancelot') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Fragrant lavender flowers with deep purple to burgundy bracts open from early to late summer above silvery-green, felted leaves. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers often.
Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Snapdragon.
