Notes

'Lavender Meidiland' rose (Rosa 'Lavender Meidiland') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Mauve blooms open from early to late summer and have a sweet scent. Bees visit the flowers, and the bushy, light green plants fill in well. Alain A. Meilland bred it in 2009.

Pairs well with New Jersey tea, Jackmanii clematis, and Greig's tulip.
