Notes

'Lavender Princess' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lavender Princess') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in late spring with large double flowers in light pink with lavender shading. The blooms can reach 7 inches wide and have no pollen or seeds. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and Klehm's Song Sparrow Perennial Farm introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Miss Kim lilac, Queen of Night tulip, and Smooth aster.
