Notes
'Lavender Splash' peony (Paeonia 'Lavender Splash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single lavender flowers have ruffled petals and a sweet fragrance, and they draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Roger F. Anderson bred it.
Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Prairie dropseed, Carlton daffodil, and Christmas fern.
