Notes

'Lawrence' Japanese wisteria (Wisteria floribunda 'Lawrence') is a vine for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It climbs fast and bears fragrant blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. Give it a strong support to climb.

Pairs well with Japanese maple, Ornamental onion, and Sweet woodruff.
