Notes
'Le Charme' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Le Charme') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright to about 31 inches tall and bears pink Japanese type flowers with a buff center. Martin Eliason bred it in 1964 from Charm and Le Cygne.
Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Dalmatian bellflower, and Royal fern.
