Notes

'Lemon Honey' peony (Paeonia 'Lemon Honey') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Yellow blooms with amber shading open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Damask rose, and The President clematis.
