Notes

'Lemon Parfait' peony (Paeonia 'Lemon Parfait') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Light yellow or cream blooms with short red flares open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine introduced it in 2001.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Elegans hosta, Greig's tulip, and Big bluestem.
