Notes

'Lemon Thrills' peony (Paeonia 'Lemon Thrills') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Lemon-yellow blooms carry dark red flares, with three buds on each stem. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Strong stems hold the flowers above large, dark green leaves.

Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Jeana garden phlox, Big bluestem, and Greig's tulip.
