Notes
'Leopoldo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Leopoldo') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Modeste Guérin introduced it around 1854. The blooms make a fine show in the garden and in a vase.
Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Cinnamon fern, and New Jersey tea.
