Notes
'Lil' Kim Violet' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Lil' Kim Violet') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast to 35 to 47 inches tall and wide, so it fits small spaces. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pittosporum, Fourwing saltbush, and Big bluestem.
