Notes

'Lilafee' bishop's hat (Epimedium grandiflorum 'Lilafee') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall and bears lavender and violet blooms. It is drought tolerant, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Autumn fern, and Little brown jug.
