Notes

'Pretty in Pink' bishop's hat (Epimedium grandiflorum 'Pretty in Pink') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Spring flowers show white spurs, rose pink backs, and dark rose centers, and the heart-shaped green leaves turn bronze in autumn. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Once established, it tolerates drought well.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Autumn fern.
