Notes
'Lileeanne's Jewel' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Lileeanne's Jewel') is a small tree for specimen planting, containers, and Asian-style gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its red leaves are splashed with pink and white variegation. The fall color is scarlet red, and the pink variegation still shows. It grows in an upright form with a broad canopy and reaches about 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide in 10 years.
Pairs well with Autumn fern, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Snowdrop.
