Notes

Lily (Lilium speciosum) is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant flowers come in green, pink, red, and white. They open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Dusky Challenger iris, Brookside crane's-bill, and Japanese forest grass.
