Notes

Limber pine (Pinus flexilis) is a tree for specimen planting, accent, privacy screen, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Its twigs are tough and flexible, and you can sometimes twist them into a knot. Birds and squirrels eat the large seeds.

Pairs well with White fir, Winterberry, and Buffalo grass.
